Title: Wired
Author: Chrysa
Pairings: D/J humor/slightly romantic...maybe
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: It's not mine or else Janet would still be alive and she'd be married to Daniel.
Feedback: Yeah sure why not?
Archive: Dear God why would you want this?! If you want it take it as long as all disclaimers and author stuff is left intact. Just let me know where it's going.
Author notes: Popped up in a Gateview chat. Not an official challenge: Use Teal'c to get various pairings together using wire cutters. I think there was mention of Daniel stubbing his toe. I don't know. lol Apparently there is now a wire cutter cult and I think I'm a member.

Thanks Misty and CaitlynJane! Without you this minor bit of insanity would never have cropped up. Hee hee.

Wired

He had had enough. The looks, the shy smiles at one another, the ust between them was more than the Jaffa could bear. Grabbing the extremely large roll of velvet-covered wire that had been bought for the upcoming Christmas party, Teal'c marched out of his office.

He was a man on a mission.

They were so nave, blindly trusting their friend when Teal'c told each of them to meet him in one of the storage rooms. He soon had them right where he wanted them.

"Teal'c!!" Daniel howled and tried to jump away as Teal'c twisted the wire around him and Janet. Despite his strength and famous Jackson determination Teal'c had him right where he wanted him: securely tied to one Dr. Janet Fraiser.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" She yelled at him as Daniel hopped around. "Stop that! You're just dragging me along with you and I am not a damn pogo stick!!"

"Teal'c let us go!!" Daniel yelled as he hopped some more. Unfortunately he hopped in the direction of a metal shelf and stubbed his toe. Yowling in pain he stumbled backwards and caused the two of them to fall into several bags of packing popcorn.

"Told you to stop hopping."

"You will stay here until you confess your feelings for one another," Teal'c announced. "When you do I will cut you out with these." He held up a pair of wire cutters and went out the door.

Silence reined as the door closed. Janet and Daniel looked at one another then away then back at one another and blushed. Finally, Janet sighed.

"So I guess it's been noticeable, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so if it's gotten Teal'c riled up," Daniel said. He looked into her eyes. "Well?"

Janet turned her pert nose into the air. "I'm not willing to confess yet," she said haughtily.

"Then neither am I," he said arrogantly looking away.

They looked at each other and grinned.

The door opened and Teal'c peeked inside. He frowned when the kissing he was anticipating interrupting was not in progress. "Well?"

"Not yet!"

Teal'c blinked slowly, the equivalent of Jaffa eye rolling, and closed the door.

Janet shook her head. "You probably shouldn't have said that."

Daniel smiled sheepishly. "Probably not."

Janet started wiggling and twisting as much as she could.

"Janet?"

Just a little more, she thought, she could feel the wire loosening around one hand.

"Janet?"

Come on...Come on!!!

"JANET!!"

"What?!"

"Could you stop doing that?" Daniel asked taking in a ragged breath.

"Why?"

"Because it's har ...er..um...difficult to think when you do that."

Janet raised an eyebrow at him. "Really?"

"Yeah." Daniel let out a slow breath. "Just a little."

Janet sighed and let her head rest against his. This was turning out to be a very odd day. After a moment she felt Daniel shiver then laugh. "What?"

"You're blowing air into my ear and it tickles!"

Janet burst out laughing as Daniel rocked them back and forth then finally managed to roll them down onto the floor.

The door opened once more. "Well?"

"Not yet!"

Teal'c's eyebrow rose almost to his serpent emblem and he growled in frustration. "Not even O'Neill and MajorCarter were this difficult!" He shut the door again.

"Here," Daniel said shifting and wiggling. "Maybe if one of us can get our hands free..." He shifts and wiggles some more before letting out a growl of frustration."

Janet sighed happily. "Do that again."

"Do what?"

"All of it."

"We're hopless aren't we?"

"Not if you keep doing that. I liked that."

Daniel looked at her curiously. "What else do you like about me?'

Janet wiggled against him suggestively. "That give you an idea?" she asked looking into his dazed eyes.

"Yeah," he breathed out slowly. "Do that again."

"I can do a lot more than that if we could get out of this wire," Janet giggled. "I'm ready to confess."

"Me, too. TEAL'C!"

"TEAL'C!!"

But there was no answer. Finally becoming fed up Teal'c had gone out for some coffee.

The End
